Holiday home in Medici

This charming and spacious villa is on a peaceful and secluded position in Medici, a small Dalmatian village by the sea not far from Split. It is only 60m from the sea down a short pathway with steps to a long pebble beach. In the evenings you can sit on Villa Luciana's terrace, admire the view across to the Island of Brac and watch the sunset.

The nearest shop is just 1km from the house in the nearby village of Mimice, which has several good restaurants and a bar by the sea. The fascinating town of Split is only 35 minutes away and is full of restaurants, bars and cafés; you can also enjoy exploring the old city, Diocletian's Palace and other monuments. There are also regular ferries to the islands of Brac, Hvar and Vis to which you can easily make day trips. On the way to Split is the spectacular town of Omis, near to which you can go rafting and canoeing on the River Cetina.

Included in the property price is hire of a boat 4.6m long with a 4hp outboard motor which carries about 5 people. Boat licence required

You enter the hall off which on the right is the fully-equipped kitchen with a fridge, cooker, a microwave and a dishwasher on the left is a small double bedroom with a little terrace with a barbecue. Adjacent to the kitchen is a big dining area with table and chairs to seat 8; a few steps down is an open plan living room.This is very spacious and well decorated having a large sofa, two armchairs, satellite TV, DVD and CD and a lovely fireplace. From the living room you access the big paved outdoor terrace with dining table and gorgeous sea views. Also on the ground-floor is air-conditioning, plus a bathroom/WC with a washing machine.Marble stairs lead you up to the first floor which has one twin bedroom and two double bedrooms, one with a balcony and a shower room/WC. There is another shower room/WC on this floor.
