Gîte rural Suvereto

Podere Ramerino is an old rebuild farm house situated in the Tuscan Maremma, on top of a hill surrounded by typical wild Mediterranean vegetation, facing the coast line and Elba Island. The place is very calm and you only hear the birds singing and the sound of the wind through the trees. The medieval village of Suvereto is only 7 kilometres away, where you find all town services. At about 15 kilometres you reach the beaches of Baratti and San Vincenzo, ancient Etruscan hot baths and thermals of Venturina.

In the area there are a lot of artistic, cultural and gastronomic choices: museums, monuments such as churches, castles and many Etruscan necropolises. Summer concerts in Massa Marittima's main square surrounded by medieval "palazzi". Several beaches at short distance, both isolated little coves and long beaches with services. A lot of good wine yards, wine shops and small typical Tuscan restaurants.

The owners are living nearby at Le Solane (400 m). They are producing olives and olive oil in the old traditional way: organically grown, hand picked, and minimally processed. They also produce a large selection of marmelades, sauces and pates.

The apartments (4 in total) at the Ramerino country house have been carefully furnished and equipped with any kind of comfort. They are completely independent, but on request some of them may be joined for large families or groups of friends. The nearby swimming pool offers an enchanting view on the Tyrrheninan coast and the island of Elba, it's an oasis of peace and total relaxation.
