Provence Côte d'Azur
Provence is a region situated in the sunny south-eastern corner of France. The real Provence stretches from the perfume-city of Grasse to the east all the way to the Rhône valley to the west, and from the high Alps to the north, to the Mediterranean to the south. Even though it is not geographically correct, the French Riviera is today also considered a part of Provence. The region contains the following departments: Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, Var, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence as well as Alpes-Maritimes. Furthermore, we have decided to include the departments of Drôme and Ardèche in the region of Provence-Côte d´Azur, as many of our holiday homes are situated near the natural border of Provence-Côte d´Azur. Liguria

Lugurien har et areal på ca. 5.418 km2 og knap 1,6 millioner indbyggere. 80% af Liguriens befolkning er koncentreret i byerne langs den vestlige kyststrækning, Riviera di Ponente, bedre kendt som den italienske riviera. Marche
Marche er en af Italiens mere ukendte regioner, som endnu ikke for alvor har udfoldet sig som turistdestination blandt skandinaverne. Men skønt regionen altid vil stå i skyggen af Toscana og Umbrien, så kan man opleve en varierende kyststrækning mod Adriaterhavet med hvide sandstrande og højtravende klipper, storslået natur samt utallige historiske seværdigheder. The medieval town of Villeneuve-Loubet lies a little back from the coast between Nice and Antibes. Villeneuve-Loubet is a charming little town with winding streets, idyllic squares and pleasant little restaurants. Villeneuve-Loubet is dominated by a medieval castle which earlier belonged to the Villeneuve family.

- Ski resorts within easy travelling distance: http://www.skifrance.fr/default-a.htm. The nearest ski resort, Andon, is only 45 km northwest of Montauroux. Here, you will find 3 km of ski pistes with 22 pistes and 8 lifts

- Le Château de Villeneuve, listed monument (Guided visits – arranged by the tourist office – Wednesday and Friday from March to October).
- Musée de l’Art culinaire Escoffier.
- The old part of town.
- Archaeological finds (wall from a big temple from the 7th century B.C.).
- Marina Baie des Anges.
- Le Parc du Loup: (167 different Mediterranean plants).
- La Fresque Murale de Robert Roque.
- Le Pont sur Loup.
Villeneuve-Loubet is especially well-known for being the chef Auguste Escoffier’s (1847-1936) native town.
Auguste Escoffier was chef at the Grand Hotel in Monte Carlo and at the Savoy in London, and it was he who created the Bombe Néro and the Pêche Melba. He has his own museum in Villeneuve-Loubet with exhibits of 5000 menu cards from big famous dinners, countless photos, also from the occasion when Escoffier was made Knight of Dannebrog, marzipan and icing creations as well as several other things attached to culinary arts.
Villeneuve-Loubet is today totally connected with Marina Baie-des-Anges, a big and architectonically very interesting complex with 1600 apartments.
